I got my shirt! Yay, me!
I won NaNo this year. 50,200 and some change. I’ve trashed my previous story about Brighton and re-crafted the title a bit. Alignment: Division
An artifact shop owner’s son is given a mysterious bracer that could be key in a world-breaking battle, but when he and his sister end up choosing opposite sides, can they reconcile before it’s too late?
I’ll post more later. For now, I am feeling pretty awesome to have finished.
I’ve been doing some reading online about fantasy tropes and cliches. I’ve noticed that there seems to be some standard “rules” to follow if you find yourself the main character in a fantasy story:

Three boards that apply to the new book: Alignments, Brighton’s Abandoned Garden, and Lord Guardian Thraeldar’s Bracer. Enjoy! If you see anything that might fit, share it with me.
Felt like posting a quick excerpt from my new story. This is actually the end of Chapter 1. Hope you enjoy it!
I mentioned prior to NaNo that I would post my dwarf story. Of the new world building stories, I think this one might have a good chance at being my favorite. Definitely a challenge to Elfling, in any respect.
I hope both my readers like it. Continue reading Not Every Girl’s Dream
So apparently those that answered my Facebook question wanted to see the story of the troll before the dwarf. (I did have one vote for a gnome. Sorry Robin, no gnomes in this one.)
Read on for the story:
