Hello, everyone. I’m not exactly sure what I’m back for, but I understand that I am to introduce myself to you. My name is Mirian Wyrell. I am a priestess of Aliyah, and the goddess has chosen me for a special purpose.
Well, Chapter two is winding up in the public queue and the feedback seems to be fairly unanimous. I have a couple people to send my follow up question to, but I am confident of the answer anyway. Maybe they can just answer here…
In the middle of the chapter, end of scene three, I made a pretty big change to the events. At first, I felt I was selling out on what I thought had to happen. When I rewrote the section, it felt like a ‘Greedo shot first’ moment. I was wrong.

So, now you’ve seen the crap version of Chapter 5 opening. I should have mentioned that chapter 4 is where she meets Jerok after fleeing from a gang of murderous robbers. She has accepted Jerok’s offer to accompany her to Trior. What she doesn’t know is that Jerok is a thief of sorts as well. After originally planning on robbing her, when he found out she was a priestess traveling to the castle, he decided to tag along so he could swipe some goodies from there.
